JOSH buys the items we ship. Our volunteers spend many hours every month shopping for the best prices, but our costs are constantly increasing and the average cost per package is $80 each including shipping.   

JOSH will be shipping at least 140 care packages per month in 2024.  We need help to be able to do this.  We purchase full size brand name hygiene items and really good snacks for our care packages.  

​We rely upon fundraisers and monetary donations to help purchase items/offset shipping costs. 

JOSH is a volunteer led and operated 501(c)3 Charitable Organization and donations directly benefit our deployed troops.​  We have no paid staff and we strive to keep administrative costs as low as possible.  We want our supporters to know their donations are being used for their intended purpose.

JOSH ships specific items and our storage space is limited.   Due to our storage limitations, the only donations we can currently accept are listed below.  If you would like to purchase items from our wish lists, please visit our gift registry on Amazon or Walmart.

No donation is too small.  All financial help is greatly appreciated! 

Sponsor a Care Package

Would you like to ship a care package to one of the Soldiers on our shipping list, but don't know how or don't have time? We will do it for you!  You can provide to us the information you would like included in your package. 

For a $70 donation, JOSH will ship a care package in your name to a deployed US Service Member.  You can tell us whether you would prefer to have food or hygiene products sent in your name.

JOSH is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and since you will be not be personally receiving any goods or services for your donation, it will be fully tax deductible.

Become a Corporate Sponsor

Companies can sponsor a packing event for a donation of $10,000.  JOSH will block off a month for your employees to prepare care packages at our facility in Longwood, FL.  Please note that JOSH is a grassroots organization and we do not have the means or manpower to transport items to your location.  All sponsored packing events must be at our facility.  We will purchase all of the care package items and pay the shipping costs with your sponsorship.  Your company/organization can insert cards or other media so the troops know the packages came from you!
